The spring workshop was started as a chance for our members to visit other telcos to view the challenges they face, tour their facilities, and see hands-on how other companies & marketing departments operate. It also gives the attendees the opportunity to network with peers on a more informal basis.

SPRING WORKSHOP HOSTED BY TCT

Wednesday April 12 

4:30pm - Tour of Neosho Gardens

Enjoy beverages & snacks as you tour the Neosho Gardens greenhouse. Since 1981, Neosho Gardens has been a wholesale grower of vibrant plants and flowers, primarily supplying independent garden centers, landscape contractors, and distribution centers throughout the Midwest. They are committed to producing quality products and employing sustainable, environmentally friendly practices by using computer-controlled greenhouses and a 98% efficient water heating system.

6:00pm - Dinner and Music at the Territory Ballroom

Delight in a delicious BBQ dinner of Kansas beef & chicken, with all the fixins’ and a yummy dessert to finish it off!! Vegetarian options available upon request. The bar will be open while you tap your foot to the music of Lora McDonald.

9:00am - Be Part of the Digital Inclusion

Session 1: Melinda Stanley from NTIA-KS and Kimberlyn Jones from the Kansas Department of Commerce Broadband Office will be on hand share updates about the state’s initiatives to reach cover populations. Also learn why working with local partners and implementing a Digital Inclusion Plan, will help your community access BEAD program funding.

Session 2: Experts from Regional Digital Inclusion Coalitions join us to share the tools and resources they’ve used to enhance the quality of life in their community, through digital skills training, access to broadband and access to devices. Learn how to work with local organizations to start a Digital Inclusion Coalition, and advance the goal of giving everyone the opportunity to use technology to live, learn, work, and thrive.

1:30 pm - It's Not About the Sale, It's About the Relationship! 

TCT Business Solutions Technician, Doug Teetzen leads a panel about community partnerships and relationships, which are key to making life-long customers who advocate for your company’s brand.
